Banshee Ending at Season 4

When Cinemax renewed Banshee for an eight-episode Season 4 - two episodes less than the usual 10 - fans wondered if it signaled the end. Well, that plus the fact that Banshee EP/Showrunner Greg Yaitanes was also developing a new series for Cinemax called Quarry - and that he’d be directing all eight episodes of its first season.

Now TVLine.com has learned that Banshee is in fact ending with Season 4 - though still unconfirmed by Cinemax at this point.

TVLine was told that the show’s producers have known that the end was coming for some time and thusly designed the the final eight episodes to bring the story to an “epic” conclusion. Banshee is set to take its final bow in early 2016.

They’re working on Season 3 currently?

Season 2 was disappointing to me minus the Burton fight scene, less talky talky more booty booty.

ive only seen season 1. i was about to start 2 on amazon prime and then they got rid of it.

@deSoldier2001 they are actively filming Season 4.
Season 3 had the fight between Burton and Nola in the driveway
I thought Season 3 had some rough patches, but the additional character development was nice

More booty, more blood - less family drama

Just started watching season 3. Love the show. Cinemax probably couldn’t afford to keep putting it on.
