See yourself out
Can you guys add me to the battlefield group?
You forgot to say “please”.
Please Sir!
I don’t have control over this, lol.
your already on it. @Sniper_T1 unless someone else just added you.
Cool. Had a lot of fun getting killed this week end. Gotta get good!
I’ve wondered if this was a thing because there’s been times when I get killed in sandstorms by dudes in front me that I couldn’t see, but somehow they see me. Fix this now please.
It’s “Git Gud” scrub.
I got a hell of a laugh from this one. I would like to see his video.
Battlefield 1 players still enjoying their time with the game have got a lot to be excited about in the coming months as a Revolution is on its way with Premium options and more content making its way to DICE’s shooter.
If you don’t own a Premium Pass for Battlefield 1, then you won’t have access to some of the game’s maps. The newly announced Premium Trials offers a way for players to try out select maps without the need to join a squad that includes a player who has a Premium Pass.
Premium Trials will be available to try on the same day the “Prise de Tahure” map releases which is at some point this month. If you don’t own a Premium Pass, you can check out the Premium Trial and gain access to Prise de Tahure, Nivelle Nights. and four other maps included in the “They Shall Not Pass” DLC.
Before Gamescom kicks off on August 22nd, there will be another Premium Trails event although the specific start and end dates for the first or second Premium Trials events have yet to be confirmed. September will see the third Premium Trials event and by this time, those checking out the trials will be able to play on the previously released expansion pack maps.
If you’ve been taking advantage of Premium Friends, you can continue to do so up until Gamescom begins.
Announced last month, the “Name of the Tsar” DLC will come with six new maps, the Russian Army, new weapons, vehicles, and plenty more. The full DLC pack will release in September but DICE states that players can get an early taste of the cold-battling to come net month when the snow-filled map Lupkow Pass releases.
December will see the release of “Turning Tides”, the game’s third expansion pack that features the “epic clashes of the Zeebrugge Raid, the Gallipoli Offensive, and more”. As well as taking part in naval battles, players will also take it to their opponents on land and in the skies on the new maps with an arsenal of new weapons. More details are currently still classified.
Don’t forget that Battlefield 1 will be making its way into the EA Access Vault and you can get your hands on the upcoming DLC packs early by owning the Premium Pass.
The Prise de Tahure update in Battlefield 1 is ready to be rolled out to the dedicated soldiers still going all out in DICE’s popular first person shooter. The third monthly update comes with the release of the second additional map in the “They Shall Not Pass” DLC, the start of Premium Trials, changes to the user interface, additional features for the Rental Server Program, and a list of tweaks and fixes for the gameplay.
Prise de Tahure
Prise de Tahure will be the second night map and also the final map to release from the game’s DLC. The new content will be available to download for those with a Premium Pass or those who own the DLC by itself. Those without a Pass can still access the content via Premium Friends or Premium Trials. Here’s a brief description of what’s to come on the latest map:
French raiders and German stormtroopers clash in an urban trench setting as the nights grow colder in the Champagne-Ardennes region. The frontline trench networks cut right through several villages facing obliteration from the constant skirmishing between German and French troops.
Premium Trials
The Premium Trials, which we covered details on here, are also available to try out with the release of this new update. Those who don’t own a Premium Pass or don’t have Premium Friends can check out this timed event and try out the new content before they potentially buy. However, earning XP, spawning in DLC vehicles, and progression and unlocks will be restricted to Premium Pass owners.
Take a look at the full list of changes, fixes, additions, and enhancements packed into the new patch:

-
Soissons: Adjusted Flag D capture area in Frontlines to improve map balance.

Fort de Vaux: Players should no longer be able to get on top of the fort around the courtyard area.
OTHER FIXES
-
Updated the Map Voting system to exclude the previous map (as well as the current map) from the random selection pool to prevent the possible A-B-A-B map play pattern.

Game will now cancel matchmaking whenever backing out of the Operations globe screen. This to prevent a lingering blur state of the globe.

Synchronized damage taken effect to the actual shooter networked state. Previously it lead to out of sync effects where the shooter was not yet visible.
-
Fixed a rare client crash that could occur when a player joined late and a player just dropped/picked up a weapon.
-
Fixed a disconnect issue that could occur when loading a map.
PREMIUM
-

Added new setting to allow for limited number of specific kits.
-
Added setting for round time limit multiplier.
-
Added setting for Unlimited Magazines.
-
Countdown stops if players drop: Lowered the required player count for countdown to start game round to the minimum number of players required to finish a game if preround is enabled. The player count is unchanged if preround is disabled.
-
Implemented a latency soft lock option where players with a ping higher than 100ms higher get kicked automatically.
UI
-
Fixed issue where the "Player-Created Content" option was grayed-out, unusable, and set to "Hide" after booting the title without a network connection.
-
Fixed the wrong transport driver chase camera caption in the controls UI.
-
The networking issues icons will not show up in Spectator Mode anymore.
The Prise de Tahure update for Battlefield 1 is live right now.
As I understand it - this new map and all previous DLC maps are available to all for one week from today (only during this week) as part of Prime Trials.
After that your access snaps back to paid for content only.
Downloading now I wish they would release the DLC in August. Give time to run thru it and be sick of it by Sept 6
Don’t they understand I need one thing to focus on at a time
Thanks for the information much appreciated
BATTLEFIELD 1 UPDATE NOTES – LUPKOW PASS UPDATE
Welcome to the Lupkow Pass Update – our fourth monthly update and the first map release for Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar expansion. With this update, we’re heading to Russia and the Carpathian Mountains to the wintery and treacherous Lupkow Pass. In addition to the new map, we’ve continued tweaking and fixing maps & modes, Spectator mode, weapons & vehicles, and more. Grab your jacket – you’re in for a cold Russian winter.
Lupkow Pass: All You Need To Know
A cold, vertical map is the first from Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar. Cross the Carpathians in your first taste of Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar.
This update brings Battlefield to the snowy ravines of Lupkow Pass. The wintery mountain landscape offers stunning visuals and plenty of opportunities for exciting vertical gameplay. Narrow passages can quickly become corridors of death as the deadly Hussar cavalry of the Russian forces impales enemies on his lance.*
*Lance can be equipped by any faction’s cavalry.
*The Battlefield 1 Lupkow Pass Update is a required update for all Battlefield 1 players. Access to Lupkow Pass requires Battlefield 1 Premium Pass or In the Name of the Tsar expansion. In the Name of the Tsar expansion will be released in September.
What is Lupkow Pass?
Lupkow Pass is the first map we’re releasing from Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar, the most extensive Battlefield expansion so far. Five more maps will follow as the full expansion pack releases in September.
Where and when is the map set?
Based on the Austro-Hungarian assault on the Russian-held Carpathian passes in January 1915, Lupkow Pass brings the fight to a harsh but beautiful environment where the Russian Army defends their frozen ground.
How can I play Lupkow Pass?
If you’re an owner of a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass or the Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar expansion, you have access to Lupkow Pass. You can also take advantage of Battlefield 1 Premium Friends, when active, which lets you play the map if you squad up with a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owner. During Battlefield 1 Premium Trials you can play Lupkow Pass and any other available Battlefield 1 Premium Pass map without the need to join a friend.
