The interesting part: a “unique” mode for fans of starfighters…
Soon, we will be revealing more multiplayer modes along with brand-new gameplay footage and even a new hero type…nope, that wasn’t a typo. Headed to Gamescom? If so, you will be among the first gamers to go hands on with a new and unique game mode I know fans of Starfighters are going to be excited about.
Coming at Gamescom - which is 8/5 - 8/9, so not long before we hear.
a new mode? oh wait, lemme guess like i did before, some type of dog fighting mode. Spawn into a “battle” in some type of aerial vehicle and have to board a ship or just straight up shoot other planes.
i feel like this was always a plan and it would take place in space, but they said “no space battles” soooooo… that puts a little bit of doubt into this…

No space battles.
So what? 1v1?
At best your lone ship attacking some enemy fighters or a cruiser or something.
Unless there will be aerial battles on the planets, rather than render a separate space location.
this is what im thinking and prolly what they are going to do. also easier to have “boundries” in this setting than in space.
So like what we saw in the trailer with TIE fighters and whatever the Rebel fighters are called on Hoth.
