Topic looks dead, but posting some of my favorites.
Tropicallia - Creature Comforts - only in Atlanta unfortunately, but got some from my last trip there. Thor’s drink of choice in End Game
Maine Lunch- Maine Brewing - new favorite IPA that is so good. Hard to find in IL.
Zombie Dust- 3 Floyds Brewery- One of the best IPA’s in the country only about an hour from where I live in IN.
Gumballhead - 3 Floyds Brewery- One of the better ales out there.
Jai alai - Cigar City- Almost as good as Tropicallia, but easier to find out here.

A mild pale ale. Easy to drink. I’m in a rut and not sure what I want. This is good and local.

Hop-forward beers weren’t popular when we started brewing in 1980. But we loved them, and we knew that if we were going to open a brewery, we’d better make something distinctive. It’s been 40 years since then, and we’re still brewing what we love. This beer showcases the bold flavors and aromas of a classic West Coast IPA: intense pine and citrus with a deep gold color and slight caramel sweetness. Here’s to following your passion, and to the next 40 years.

Just picked up half a case of this beer last weekend and it’s almost gone. Very good and very smooth. I expected it to be crazy hoppy because of the title but it’s not at all. I’ll probably grab some more next time I’m at the beer store.
Buddy of my dad brought a box of these over… pretty damn good! Tastes more like a pilsner than a lager but good none the less.
