According to Facebook, there will be a Borderlands Movie. Never played the series, but interested in seeing how this turns out.

You’ve never played it? Do yourself a favor and get on that. It’s a great series. BL2 had much better writing and was absolutely hilarious.
Definitely one to try. Tiny Tina was hilarious. I played every title and liked them all. Also a good series to eat up the time before new releases. Just a thought

cheap also, you can get the handsome jack collection for like $30 which is 2 games with all DLC. Alot more fun with friends.
why do i feel that this will just be compared to Mad Max and will probably fail.

They prolly saw the success of mad Max and think they can do it now.
That’s basically what borderlands is, a satirical version of mad max
