Showcasing its new line up of gaming accessories, partnerships and Xbox One headsets during CES 2015 in Las Vegas this week, Turtle Beach has revealed more details on the upcoming product ranges.
Turtle Beach is following up last year’s wireless Xbox One
headset, the Stealth 500X, with the retail launch of Elite 800X in the
Spring of 2015. The Elite 800X features DTS 7.1 channel surround sound,
active noise cancellation, boom-free microphones, customizable presets,
magnetic charging stand and swappable speaker plates.
Turtle Beach also revealed two upgraded versions of its
Xbox One headsets, XO Seven Pro priced at and the XO Four Stealth. The
Seven and Four carry a MSRP of US $159.95 MSRP and USD $99.95,
respectively.
The official Major League Gaming licensed XO Seven Pro toutes 50mm
Neodymium Speakers and a “Superhuman Hearing” setting that enhances
quiet audio cues like enemy footsteps and weapon reloads. It also
sports memory foam ear cushions, swappable speaker plates, removable mic
and mobile adapter cable for PC and mobile devices.
The headset also includes the new Ear Force Headset Audio
Controller Plus that connects the headset to the Xbox One wireless
controller for chat and game audio. It offers variable mic monitoring,
which takes the sound of the user’s voice and feeds it back into the
headset so their voice sounds normal. It also features four game presets
and three environmental mic presets to adjust with a room’s noise
levels.
The XO Four Stealth, which also includes the Ear Force
Headset Audio Controller, sports 50mm neodymium speaker drivers,
removable mic and fold-flat ear cups.
Turtle Beach will launch an officially licensed Call of Duty Online
PC Gaming Headset in China in April. The headset features Call of Duty
branding and artwork, 50mm neodymium speakers, in-line controller with
master volume and mic controls, and removable boom microphone.It
supports gaming desktops, laptops and ultrabooks.
Raven Software-developed Call of Duty Online is a
free-to-play Call of Duty title born from a partnership between Tencent
and Activision. The game features core CoD content and localized,
content for the Chinese gamers. The public open beta is set to launch
later this month in China.
Turtle Beach will launch a new line of PC accessories this
Spring in the U.S. with six models. Turtle Beach IMPACT 700 gaming
keyboard features a full-sized steel-reinforced chassis and gunmetal
keycap plate, Cherry MX Brown key switches and laser-engraved keycaps.
Hitting retail at USD $195.95, the keyboard also includes 3.5mm mic and
audio jacks and two USB 2.0 ports with direct audio pass-through to
support everything a gaming headset and mouse can throw at it.
The Turtle Beach IMPACT 500 mechanical gaming keyboard has a
tenkeyless keycap layout, Cherry Blue MX mechanical switches, six-key
rollover with full anti-ghosting and a rubber-coated, steel reinforced
chassis. It will hit retail for USD $125.95. At MSRP USD $59.95, the
Turtle Beach IMPACT 100 hybrid keyboard features smart-guided keycap
sleeves, 30-key rollover with full anti-ghosting, steel-reinforced
construction
The 7-button scroll-wheel Turtle Beach Grip 500 laser
gaming mouse uses Avago 9800 laser sensors and Omron switches. Retailing
for USD $69.95, it offers the ability to customize performance, change
illumination settings, program all seven buttons and the scroll wheel.
Users can plus create up to 50 macros with up to 100 commands each and
then assign them to any button. These can be saved into” five different
color-coded profiles, loaded into on-board memory and changed on the
fly.”
The 5-button scroll-wheel Turtle Beach Grip 300 optical
gaming mouse sports an Avago 3050 optical sensor and Omron switches. It
offers hardware switches to adjust DPI from 500 to 1750 and polling rate
from 125 to 1000Hz and doesn’t require drivers to run load or software
to run. And its non-slip soft-touch coating enhances grip control and
increases gamer endurance. The mouse will hit retail at a MSRP prive of
US $39.95.
The Turtle Beach Traction textured control surface mousepad
features a textured weave surface and an anti-slip rubber base.
Traction comes in medium (270x220mm), large (350x250mm), extra large
(450x350mm) and wide (900x300mm), and range from USD $14.95 to USD
$34.95. The Turtle Beach Drift mousepad features an “ultra-smooth
surface” and an anti-slip rubber base. Drift comes in medium
(270x220mm), large (350x250mm), extra large (450x350mm) and wide
(900x300mm), and range from USD $14.95 to USD $34.95.
