One thing to note from that guide and I think other Conan players would agree, don’t build your strength up too much.

They patched it so you could still knock out thralls with a high Strength stat.

pro tip: Do not try and walk through the green wall (Cursed Wall). You die instantly.

TL;DR (Patch Summary)
Known Issue: Yellow Lotus Potions sometimes have no effect. This will be fixed as quickly as possible, and in the meantime we recommend not using them.

Balance and Gameplay Fixes
Heads are no longer returned when dismantling trophies.
Fixed collision on relic rocks in starting area
It is no longer possible to build on the shrine west of the river to prevent NPCs from spawning
Players can drink while underwater again
Players now respawn immediately upon dying, skipping the death camera.
This is a temporary change in order to prevent players from retaining gear after death, and a permanent solution will be implemented in the future.
Added a short delay before you can harvest a corpse to reduce the chance of accidentally hitting the corpse with a non-optimal tool
Players now unequip their weapons when logging in. This fixes a problem with animation states.
Bows should now always consume ammunition
Fixed a collision issue with the giant spider and rebalanced its attacks
Fixed an issue with explosive jars causing camera jitter when colliding with the player in build mode
Players can no longer stack placeables
Players can no longer abort attacks to increase attack speed

Bedrolls and beds can only be bound to one character at a time
Make beds only have one owner, and show the owner in GUI. If you respawn, the bedroll is prioritized over the bed, so bedrolls can be used for expeditions. Please give us feedback on this change.
Players can no longer break the surrender emote by entering combat unarmed
Monsters have received unique attacks and can now knock you back
The pickaxe now suffers no harvesting penalties and give full resources from trees and rocks
You can no longer build in invalid locations if you enter building mode without moving the mouse

Visual Improvements
Gazelle now ragdoll properly after death
Elephants now ragdoll properly after death
Player turn rates and walk rates have been tweaked to fix animation problems
Added new equip animations for the fiber rope in 1st and 3rd person
Add social animations for the Hyena and Crocodile when they are stationary

Known Issues
We are aware that crossbows still fire inconsistently. We are working on a fix
Shrines are currently not able to be placed in singleplayer mode. We are aware of this and will fix that as quickly as possible.

nice siege weapons. going to leave the clan build my own place and knock all your shit down.

What they need to add is the ability to after siege is lay claim to the land its on.

I didn’t watch the whole video, so not sure if it was mentioned in it, but…

Previously, the game was slated to arrive sometime in Q2 2017, which is the spring release season. Funcom tweeted it will now be Q3 2017 before we see the game on Xbox One. It will be arriving via the Game Preview program, which is similar to Steam’s Early Access program, letting players experiment with titles that are still in beta or alpha stages.

We got some bad news Tuesday. Conan Exiles, the upcoming Barbarian survival game similar to DayZ and ARK: Survival Evolved was previously set to launch as a Game Preview title this Spring. It now turns out the game will be coming to Xbox in the Summer which is bad news for us. The good news is that the game has had a highly successful launch on Steam and it’s already made back its budget. What that means for us is it’s attracting new investors and is now set to be even bigger than ever before.

The Highlands

Probably the biggest upcoming feature is the Highlands:

An all new area expanding the existing map into the highlands, with new creatures, armors, religions and a temperature system. Explore vast forests and scale tall mountains in this rugged, weather-beaten part of Hyboria.


As you can see from the images, the Highlands will feature dense forests and frosty landscapes which should provide a significant change of pace from the other desert environments currently featured in the game. With the new biome we’ll also get a temperature system to add to the game’s survival requirements in those snowy areas and new religions to suit the climate.

New Dungeon

RPGs always have dungeons and Conan Exiles is no different. This one’s located beneath the sands of the Exiled Lands. You’ll adventure inside to fight the weird snake creature in this picture.


Dyes

You’re only as unique as your hero. While many aspects of the game can be customized to your liking, the look of your armor (or loincloth) wasn’t something that could see your own personal flair until now.

Mounts

Horses aren’t just for getting around anymore:

You will be able to enjoy mounted combat on horses and capturing camels, rhinos or even elephants to be used for pack animals or crushing your opponents walls. Mounted combat will also make its way to Conan Exiles.

To get a mount, you’ll need to tame it by capturing it in the wild and then taking it to a special pen to break it. You’ll start out with horses and camels but will eventually be able to tame more dangerous animals like rhinos that can be used actively in combat. The developers ensure that the taming process will be interactive.

Sorcery

Magic exists in the world and you’ll be able to wield it:

Embrace the dark corruption of magic to summon demons or raise the undead to create an army of skeletons. Magic in the world of Conan is more than shooting fireballs out of your hands: it’s dark, terrible, and twisted.
Sorcery is not gained without cost. It’s a dark magic and you’ll need to sacrifice health and combat ability to master your spells. The most devoted to sorcery will even eventually learn necromancy and other types of dark magic.

Settlements

The thrall system already allows you to bind others to you. Now you’ll be able to form settlements that you’ll need to manage carefully to ensure prosperity:

Create a living city, where you command your thralls to guard, patrol, craft, gather or trade based on your own schedules. Build roads, set up schedules for your thralls, and breathe life into your settlement.

Tied to settlements will be the Purge which will require players to work together in the common defense if they want to reap the rewards of victory:

Hordes of NPC warriors will sweep down into the Exiles Lands and attack player settlements. Players must ready their defenses against this brutal attack, but can also go on the offensive and capture new thralls and strong gear.

Of course, the game also has PVP which means you’ll need ways to attack other players’ settlements. That’s where siege warfare comes in.

Players can attack each other’s settlements with powerful war machines, such as siege towers or trebuchets, and fling rotting corpses over the walls of their enemies to spread pestilence in their streets.

Conan Exiles will come to Xbox One this Summer.

I already tried to mount Johnny and Kahura multiple times.

I’ll probably pick it up on xbone when it comes out. Looks pretty sweet!
