Samsung to the rescue for PC gamer’s wallets?
I really don’t see how this solves the demand problem.
The issue as it stands is that demand far out-weighs supply.
Just like with SSD Hardware last year.
Manufacturers just don’t have the production capacity to meet market demand.
If those same maufacturers re-tool to start mass producing a dedicated chip for mining, how does that meet demand any better? Instead of producing chips for Video Cards those chips will be going to what? A “Crypto mining card?” that makes no sense. So the supply on Video Cards stays below demand, and a new type of card is released… and it can’t meet demand either.
Besides, they could just put the chip on Video Cards as a feature of the card itself if they really wanted to…
I mean the reason we use Video Cards to hash right now is strictly because of the high speed channels between the GPU and RAM. Same reason we use GPU’s to hash other types of encrypted files.
Samsung knows this…
This seems like a money making ploy to attack a niche market with buzz words to confuse people that don’t know any better.
Best unintentional definition of cryptocurrency I’ve seen.
I mine through Hashflare also I have bought coins in Tron, Verge and Ripple
Never heard of Tron. For less than a nickel apiece, guess I now have to go spend $20.
Tron has the symbol Trx
