Is there anyone else who now owns this worthless , useless , piece of shit music player ??? All my music can be played on my computer but not on the device that I paid good money for . Wish I knew how to take the DRM protection of the damn thing . Fucking Microsoft dropped all support for the ZUNE after your contract expired and now I can’t listen to my tunes when I am at work or driving my car .
i still dont understand the point of music players… even when the ipod came out… I had a motorola Razor… I just put the music on my phone… just like i do today…

Start Zune Software
Connect Zune Device (if not connected)
Click Zune Device ICON on lower left - This will take you to the summary of your Zune Device
Click Music and this will take you to the Music items on your Zune Device -
Select All the Artists You want to transfer to your collection Right Click Click “Copy to my collection”
I don’t own a Zune, so I’m not familiar with it. What type of files are the songs saved as on your PC? I wonder if you can convert them?
Is the Zune dead? I don’t understand why it’s not working any more.
I have a Zune HD 32gig. I haven’t had any problems moving music back and forth between the Zune and my computer. If I remember correctly I have it set to where it wont automatically Sync tho because syncing used to screw things up. Make sure as Audible stated that you start the software before you connect the Zune or it wont read it.
I guess what I should have stated was … I can no longer use the ZUNE player . I have the music on my PC but can not use the portable device anymore . Might have to start looking for a DRM remover program so I can access the ZUNE . I bought the 60 gig and paid about $ 200.00 for the ZUNE back in 2010 .
