Dragon Age Inquisition

Not done nightmare mode no. I put like 150 hours in and just need a little break. I might try it though. I hear you have to start using commands a lot more in nightmare mode, and I don’t really want to fool with the commands. Maybe. I’m just anxious for some dlc.

I just finished the story after completing all side quests. I was a little disappointed at how easy Corypheus was to beat, I said “that’s it”. The whole point up until the final battle was awesome though.

I am not too far in but the massive amount of area to explore is the draw to me over the main store.

My favorite moment in the game is when you get option to punch Solas! Developers bring us a game with more choices like this.

I don’t have a lot of hours in it, but it’s a hell of a game so far.

I put just at 120 hours. Cheevios I didn’t obtain were complete on hard, nightmare mode, and obtain full approval of Orlesian court.

and kill 10 high dragons, even though I did kill them all

Still waiting on my trophy for killing all 10 dragons. Known bug. Also wanting some nice dlc

Crested over the 80hour mark and hit level 20 with my main character over the past day or two. STILL having a blast with the game. Kinda absurd for me to play something this long without taking a break - my gaming ADD usually kicks in by now. Just speaks volumes over the quality of the game and the variety of stuff to do.

And yeah…killing dragons is awfully satisfying!

It is a blast for sure. My issues are basically gear management sucks. It’s uber time consuming crafting for someone, and making sure everyone has good stuff. I would like that simplified.

Negative- no where to buy herbs, unless I’m missing a merchant somewhere??

I have a garden with 6 pots, I need closer to 30.

Yeah. Herbs require picking, but they do respawn.

I’ve only kept my four main characters in gear. I figure if I bring anyone else at any point, I just swap the gear out before I head out. Actually got to the point where I’m just looking for tier 3 schematics now. Everything else is pretty max’d out.

Don’t spread yourself skill points out over all the skill trees. Pick like two trees and focus on them

Pick and mine everything you come across

Don’t stay in the hinterlands forever. The quests won’t go away even after you finish the story

There’s not really anything you should or shouldn’t do to level up except to rush through the main story line. Explore and look for everything.

Also checkout r/dragonage. There’s maps with all collectables in one thread. Pretty handy.

To add onto Landdon’s ideas…

Pay attention to your party members, and talk to them frequently. They have great dialogs and will make some pretty cool quests available as you become better friends with them.

Vary your party composition; having a mage, rogue, and warrior (x2) works well and keeps all your bases covered.

I agree, I stayed there a long time and found leveling the player took longer. Advance the main story line to level up.

Dragons give a lot of rare loot, crafting material, XP, Influence; damn hard to beat though low level. The dragon in Crestwood seemed like the easiest, no magical armor.

I played some of the MP, but it got boring fast. Count me out.

It is 4 co op, clear dungeon/region enemies, rinse repeat. It is fun for first 10 minutes then very old.

I tried to read into that a bit. Try looking at r/dragonage. Lots of good info there
