WTF is up with the FoV? It doesn’t seem to expand out very far. And my toon is offset to the left. Is there any way to change that?
Stand on a phone book with only your right foot.
I had 1st person for a while, then it switched to 3rd, don’t like it. There’s a setting to widen the FoV in “options” but It doesn’t get you far.
Edited to say, not sure about the offset toon. “Thanks for nothing”
So apparently if you push down on dpad it changes from 1st to 3rd. Amazing what you learn once you look at controls menu
You can change your camera distance. Down D pad and right thumbstick.
Much better now, it’s like a standard mmo.
FYI, this is the view I was looking for. It’s called camera Distance and you can adjust it on the fly. I’m not sure if I was being clear to those that are new to MMOs.

so did you figure it out. and get it the way you want.
Do it at the same time. It pulls the camera back.

I like that view. I need to mess around with mine a little.
I just wanted to bump this for those that are playing. (@Bigfish @GrumpyInUt @EnyoBellona and whoever else). The default view is terrible for MMOs, you really need to expand out and increase your view. It’s easier to see things to pick up, enemies to fight and essential for PVP.
Just a friendly reminder.
Maybe it’s just me, but I like the FoV that is default. I guess I just got used to it. I don’t like seeing everything small.

Seriously though I always have to have it zoomed way out as far as it goes.
oh yeah…camera view is one of the first things i figure out in all games.
Never tend to change mine from default.
You would have to play and if you do I’d yell at you in Guild Chat.
