This new came out after i published my news stories… seems legit.

Microsoft first-party studio Black Tusk is reportedly working on a remake of the original Gears of War for Xbox One.
According to Polygon,
 inside sources have told the outlet that a re-release, complete with 
updated visuals and remade cutscenes by animation studio Plastic Wax, is
 on the horizon. In fact, the source supplied several stills of the 
alleged remade opening cutscene.

Another source told Polygon that developer Splash Damage (Brink) will handle the Xbox One remaster of Gears of War.
 Several job openings on the studio's website mention that it's "about 
to engage in a very well known and highly popular AAA title with next 
gen technology."

Great another remaster instead of new content.

Pass for me. GoW sp was ok but I could never get into the MP.

And chainsaws on guns? Dumbest thing ever.

Loved everything there was on the original. I put many an hour into the multiplayer. It is the game that rekindled my love of gaming. Like others though, I will pass. I want to remember it the way it was.

I can see people who weren’t old enough or didnt have an xbox buying this, but if you already played the shit out of the games, prolly pass… although the Halo MCC sold a ton…
