I’m a longtime PC gamer who got bored, bought both consoles, and now I have no friends.

I mostly play shooters, but I do play other genres from time to time.

H had a PS3 die before I got the chance to play The Last of Us, and I had also got tired of waiting on GTAV to release on PC so I bought the Black Friday PS4 bundle. I enjoyed both of those games and bought Destiny.

My son has had an Xbox 360 for years, and has had the XB1 since launch, so he has a fairly nice collection of games. I didnt like the idea of buying 2 copies of single player games on 2 different systems (one for him and one for me) so I kicked around the idea of buying an XBONE for myself and just playing his games.

Around New Years, Best Buy was offering 50 percent extra credit on game trade ins, so we decided to trade in all of our old games, and his old 360 and some old controllers. We got enough in trade that I got XBONE for myself and he got several games COD season pass, Destiny season pass, and a headset, new controller, and I only pent $150 out of pocket. As a bonus Best buy gave me a $50 dollar gift card for purchasing the XBONE that I havent used yet (may use it on Uncharted 4)

I may change it to match my XBL name later but I’m still on the fence about it.

You can’t change your name like on xbox. It’s the most requested feature but for whatever reason you can’t do it. So to change your name you have to make a new account, losing game saves, trophies, etc. So if your gonna do it, do it before you make a history with that name.

Yeah I’m aware, the only thing I have associated with that name is Destiny. I have another account that I made which has a name I don’t care for, but I don’t think I can delete it because it’s what I used to download The Last of Us, so I immediately made the one I’m using for Destiny. I was going to make my XBL name the same as it but Microsoft tells me its invalid. I’m guessing they don’t recognize the hyphen at the end as a valid character

Perhaps. I had to use 2 underscores for mybpsn name. Apparently somebody already had mine but they haven’t logged on in forever.
