Microsoft and Asobo Studio have finally narrowed down the launch window for Microsoft Flight Simulator on consoles. Microsoft Flight Simulator comes to Xbox Series X|S in summer 2021 and will be available with Xbox Game Pass at launch.
For the first time in its history, Microsoft Flight Simulator will be playable on a console. The trailer above was captured on the Xbox Series X, and it looks fantastic. Over on Xbox Wire, Asobo Studio’s Jorg Neuman said, “Simmers on Xbox Series X|S can expect the same level of depth as the PC version, allowing you to experience the most authentic and realistic flight simulator we have ever created.”
Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC has received several free World Updates in recent months, and Neumann confirms that these will be coming to the console version along with themed DLC bundles and other improvements. The Flight Sim team is also working with third-party partners to bring “additional peripherals to Xbox Series X|S that will make your console simming experience even more immersive.”
