Pretty much won an Elite Conttoller

The wife and I went to a local casino to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. For some odd reason we decided to play a Playboy slot machine first. After commenting that a scantily clad blond looked rather retarded I won $275. Ha! I live on Long Island NY, thank God no SJwlWs were near me as my politically incorrect potty mouth was running the entire night.

We won roughly $700 and the wife said “why don’t you get that controller you like?” That’s all I needed to hear and ordered a special one last night.

Can’t wait to get it.

To the other Elite controller owners: what are you button map settings?

I never mapped the buttons or did anything crazy with mine. I didn’t even use the paddles as I’m too set in my ways.

I did love the saucer D pad and the trigger stops. Be careful with the trigger stops as some games won’t work with them. (GTA).

Also, be careful with the bumpers. Mine broke. I repaired them but it was a pain in the ass. They are weirdly delicate and break can break from just standard use. (I baby my stuff).

This has since died. I now use a standard controller with the bionik trigger stops and an elite joystick / dpad replacement.

I’ve got to replace my Elite controller as well; have some pretty regular drift in the left stick and the rubber encasing on both palms is pulling away. Not too butthurt as I’ve gotten a decent amount of use out of it over the years since getting it.

I’ll screenshot my COD setup and send it to you…I can’t play COD without the elite now.

Got the controller and I’m very impressed. It’s going to take some getting used to though as my hands might be a little too big… I meetd to experiment a bit with the button mapping for BLOPS but did decent last night. I guess it would help to read the instructions.

Is there a way to map the left and right stick clicks to the paddles? I cannot figure it out.

Yup, gotta use the application. I tried that but felt weird using paddles to swap scope zoom. Probably should have given it more time but went back to ‘no paddles’ pretty quickly.

I’ve tried the app but do not have the option of mapping either stick to any paddle.

Thank you! I was doing it completely wrong.
