This could be one hell of a deal, if what’s in this link is accurate. Link is from someone who took one he bought apart to see what drive was in it. Found a Seagate 7200 RPM drive. Looks like one from the 7200 rpm family of drives I bought and put in a dock connected to my XB1. Load times will be way faster if that’s the case.
Got this drive in. I didn’t see anything on speed. It does require power. I connected it to the Sexbox1 and it was immediately recognized. I then transferred GTAV over, that game still takes 10 days to launch.
I will put a piece electrical tape on the front. The read / access light is pretty bright. Other than that it works as expected.
