Lore Oberservations
We are slowly, very slowly finding out its not so black and white, good vs evil, Darkness and the Traveler (light). We attribute light and dark to good and evil, but as @valiantvictory states they are really just two entities at war that have brought their battle to our doorstep. When I see story progression or special little side missions. Those are fun, but they are to few and far between.
Gameplay
I have played grindy games before and the repetivtive nature of MMOs is not foreign to me. But Destiny just cannot keep me for really and lenght of time. I litterally fell asleep playing the other night not cause I was tired but cause I was so freaking bored. The rewards just do not stack up at all so all you have left is the grind that is just not fun to play. I am falling into the same grind as last season.
Destiny with new seasons is just a race to max light, but what do you do when you hit max light. Nothing. End game is pretty much non existant in this game. I like the lore of this game. There just inst any good ways to really explore it. PVP or Gambit is not endgame, plus they are completely broken right now due to Witherhorn. Only thing is raids which i feel have become way to mechanical with very little room for error and more fustration than is worth the end rewards.
Now, the only reason I still play from time to time is becuase of other GRG memebers and being able to group up. Otherwise i am not sure i would still play at all.
COD
I generally play COD now, not for MP but for Warzone. Which has plenty of its WTF moments but is fun for me with a group of GRG.
Sorting out some podcast host migration issues. Not sure wtf is going on, it should redirect to the new site. Thanks to @GrumpyInUt for alerting me. It’s correct in iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify or the web player.
Even the podcast feed points it to the correct location.
Yeah, I’ve been jumping through some hoops fixing it. It should of resolved itself immediately and it didn’t. I made this change like 2 weeks ago. In fact, I set it up to use our address for the RSS feed so it would avoid this.
