Looks good. I bought Witcher 2 on PC just a month ago on a Steam sale. Wow, what a great game. Now I’m really looking forward to this new one.

I completely forgot this was coming out so soon. I got to get it preordered. The PAX panel sold me on it. Gonna be truly Current Gen
Can’t wait. Should be easier to grasp than the first, look better than 1 and 2, and I can play it on console. Don’t really care about the nudity but hope they don’t make it less adult because it is coming to console.
I’ve tried to get into this series, buying both 1 and 2 on pc, but find the whole combat system to be quite the challenge. The ruin selection, and changing weapons, it’s all quite daunting. I would like to see that get changed a bit.
I didn’t play either 1 or 2, but that preview for 3 makes me think I will pick it up.
I’m going to give it a try soon. I got a code for the PC version because I bought a GTX 970 video card.

I’m on the fence about it. hoping there is a small demo or something released as im not the biggest fan on high fantasy and such… but this game does look amazing.
Pre-ordered it digitally(Something I thought I would never do) but I got 10% off and it releases early digitally(7pm est). So save 10%, 5 more hours of play, no standing in lines for midnight release, and its already downloading on my PS4. OH YEAH!!

IGN has a guide that gives you a good head start. since i havent played the game i dont really know what these are, but it sounds like a great help at the beginning of the game.
There are six Places of Power to find and draw energy from in White Orchard.
White Orchard Cemetary - Igni
Found in front of the mausoleum entrance in the graveyard off the main road, this Igni runestone is guarded by a Lvl. 7 wraith.
Northern Woods - Aard
Directly north of the Place of Power in the cemetary, another
runestone sits nestled in the woods next to a Monster Nest full of level
2 Ghouls.
Western Forest - Axii
In the center of the thin woods between the Nilfgaardian garrison
camp and the Herbalist’s hut lies a runestone with the Axii sign. Beware
- the forest is full of wolves, and the Place of Power may be guarded
by a level 6 Wraith.
Griffin’s Nest - Quen
Walk south from the Griffin’s nest discovered in The Beast of White
Orchard quest. Nestled between two large trees sits a Place of Power for
the Quen sign.
Abandoned Site - Yrden
Along the road to the east of the Abandoned Village (near the
Griffin’s Nest), dismount from your horse at the Abandoned Site and head
into the trees to the south. Defeat the level 6 Bear that guards the
area to upgrade Yrden.
Battlefield - Quen
If approaching from the east, ride all the way to the opposite end of
the battlefield, just before the locked gate (which you can unlock by
approaching from the west). To the north of a Ghoul’s nest lies this
last Place of Power.
