Wargaming has announced the World of Tanks beta for Xbox One will run for two days this weekend: July 11-12. Starting tomorrow, July 10, Xbox One owners can download the beta of the free-to-play multiplayer game. And by participating in the World of Tanks beta on Xbox One, players will get special bonuses, like extra experience points and the premium American tier 3 M22 Locust light tank (or 180,000 in silver for people who already have the vehicle).
That’s not all, though. Wargaming is also promising that players who download World of Tanks on Xbox One before July 28 will get a free premium light tank, the American tier II T1E6-X1 with an exclusive shield emblem.
World of Tanks officially launches on Xbox One on July 28.
World of Tanks is going to " New " graphics being added with this game . When you hit an enemy tanks ammo rack , their turret will fly off and if there is another enemy tank next to the blown up tank , the turret has a good chance of landing on top of the other tank resulting into a double kill is just one of the many features ( a whole mess of stuff that is not on the PC version , which has the PC people very unhappy right now ) , including training rooms where people can get in a group to learn tank tactics . I can know talk about a lot of things about the game , which I could not discuss due to the fact I had to sign a non-disclosure act I had to agree to when I was in the Tester program for all these many months . This should be a good game for the clan to get together in the un-ranked training room because it will feature a 15 vs 15 lobby to learn game . When the game is fully release , you will have about nine tanks which you can play and start grinding on , plus about 20 maps , five different game types and some free gold to start with ( you can play this game without spending a damn penny on and they have contest all the time to get free tanks and gold ) and maps with weather affects and day/night battles .
Never played World of Tanks, but ill download it to play with all of ya’ll. Lately I’ve been burned out of TESO and been gunning some criminals down on Hardline.
I’ll definitely download it today and give it a whirl. Will look for some of the seasoned experts to give advice above and beyond the “Point there and shoot”…but suppose that’s an unrealistic expectation.
No good gaming. But usually how a match goes is everyone rushes out at first. The smaller faster tanks will run out an spot the enemy team and possibly try and come back or take one out in the process. The bigger slower tanks will lumber out and watch paths and for the spots to come up.
you can fire on the move but you aim is hampered. also depending on the tank certain parts of the tank are stronger than others.
Firing from cover helps a ton. you can hide in bushes and behind buildings. but once you are spotted you better move cause you will show on radar.
Light tanks will do shit damage to a heavy tank especially if upgraded.
There is no respawn, once dead and you are spectating till the next match. its takes a lot of getting used to and like battlefield pretty hard at first without any tank upgrades. (engine, guns, armor, ammo)
At first best tip i can give is to sit back and watch for the blips and team shoot enemy tanks. getting hits on an enemy tank give points and will allow you to upgrade your tank.
