Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3’s most popular weapons and their attachments have been revealed, so we’re counting down the top 10 loadouts.
Since the FFAR 1, AUG, and M16’s nerf going into Season 3, there’s no longer one gun that clearly shines above the rest, so you can take your pick of almost any weapon and use it effectively. Warzone’s devs have explained how they’re trying to lower time to kill across the board to increase the skill gap, so we’ve seen Assault Rifles and SMGs enter the meta again.
WZRanked.com has revealed Warzone Season 3’s most popular weapons, so we’re counting down the top 10, along with the most popular attachments.
10. LC10
The LC10 has been an outlier since Cold War’s integration with Warzone but has quickly risen through the ranks to be one of Season 3’s best SMGs. What sets the LC10 apart from others in its class is its ability to deal damage at range, allowing it to suit any loadout or playstyle.
The most popular LC10 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.9″ Task Force
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd
9. M4A1
The M4A1 is an extremely powerful all-rounder Assault Rifle that’s climbed back to popularity with Season 3’s lower TTK across the board.
The most popular loadout has the VLK optic attached for better accuracy at range, but you can remove the scope and add an attachment such as Stippled Grip Tape to improve speed, and you’ll have a weapon effective for all engagements.
The most popular M4A1 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
8. FARA 83
Similar to the FFAR 1, the FARA 83 is a fast-firing Assault Rifle that’s perfect as a support weapon. Paired with a Sniper Rifle or long-range AR, the FARA 83 will help you out in all situations. The most popular loadout is built for close-medium range, but you could also add an optic and grip for extra range and control.
The most popular FARA 83 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 18.7″ Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Ammunition: Spetsnaz 50 Rnd
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
7. Grau 5.56
When Warzone first released in March 2020, the Grau 5.56 was king. With almost no recoil and the cleanest iron sight the game has to offer, almost every player ran the Grau. Now in Season 3, with the high time-to-kill weapons nerfed, as NICKMERCS explained, Grau is back.
The most popular Grau 5.56 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
6. FFAR 1
Reminiscent of the Famas from the original Black Ops, the FFAR 1 is a fast-firing Assault Rifle that’s excellent when paired with a long-range weapon. It’s not the be-all and end-all anymore, but it’s remained a solid choice in Season 3.
With an insanely fast time-to-kill but high recoil, the FFAR is best suited for close-medium range situations. You’ll dominate up close but struggle at long range, so it’s well worth pairing with a Sniper Rifle or long-range Assault Rifle.
The most popular FFAR loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 19.5″ Task Force
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
- Ammunition: Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag
5. MAC-10
Boasting an incredibly fast fire rate, rapid TTK, and next to no recoil, the MAC-10 is the obvious choice for a secondary weapon in Warzone Season 3.
When paired with a long-range Assault Rifle such as the Kilo, or a Sniper like the Kar98k, the MAC-10 is a perfect choice. Another SMG meta is forming in Warzone Season 3, and the MAC-10 is the perfect choice to run with any playstyle.
The most popular MAC-10 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 5.9″ Task Force
- Stock: SAS Combat Stock
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum
4 – Kilo 141
It’s no surprise that the Kilo 141 has remained one of the most popular weapons. Although being slightly nerfed in the past, it’s still an incredibly easy Assault Rifle to use. Minimal recoil and solid damage make the Kilo the best choice for players of any skill.
The most popular Kilo 141 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
3. Krig 6
Although underutilized in past seasons, long-range Assault Rifles are making a comeback in Season 3. The Krig 6 received a substantial buff this season, making it one of the best options for range in the game. The Axial Arms 3x gives it a ton of magnification, and the recoil is at a minimum, making far away targets easy to beam.
The most popular Krig 6 loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 19.7″ Ranger
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd
2. CR-56 AMAX
While the CR-56 AMAX is the most powerful Assault Rifle, it’s tricky to control. Even though Raven slightly nerfed the AMAX, it’s still capable of downing a full armored opponent in only a few shots, making this weapon lethal in the hands of skilled players.
With the right attachments and a little bit of practice, the AMAX is perhaps the best choice of primary weapon.
The most popular CR-56 AMAX loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition: 45 Round Mags
1. Kar98k
If you’re looking for a fast Sniper Rifle that’s easy to use, the Kar98k is the weapon for you. Although technically a Marksman Rifle, this bolt-action WW2 rifle is Warzone’s best Sniper.
The Kar98k has a solid ADS speed, and with its high bullet velocity, you’ll find it much easier to use most other Sniper Rifles. You can effectively quick-scope in close-range situations, and by leading your targets, hit some nasty longshots.
The most popular Kar98k loadout in Warzone Season 3:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″ Barrel
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Optic: Sniper Scope
- Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
If you’re yet to use any of these weapons in Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island, give them a try with these attachments.
Although those are 'the 10 most popular", they’re not neccisarily the 10 best.

S-Tier weapons are the meta in Warzone Season 3 – the best of the best. Weapons in
A-Tier are incredibly strong and extremely viable, and could quickly become the meta if any of the S-Tier weapons receive a nerf in future updates.
B-Tier guns are useable, and very viable if built right and used in the right circumstances, whereas \
C-Tier weapons would only need some buffs to increase their popularity.
D-Tier weapons are ineffective, but you can try them out and have some fun with them.
F-Tier guns shouldn’t be in your loadout at all.
