Has anyone used these? My hard drive is almost full so need to do something. Not sure how the usb drives work.

I just got a 2TB for 60 a few weeks ago. Installed GTA V to it, works fine. Just plug the USB cable into the XBox, it will automatically see it. Then it’ll ask to format and ask if you want it to install future games to it. Pretty simple and necessary if you are full.

For xbone, you will want to put your most used games and/or graphic intensive games on the internal HDD. I’ve noticed, even with USB3.0, that load times are long. This is easily done.

I heard that the ext drives were faster. I only have GTA on my external drive and that game takes 10 days to launch regardless.

That drive comes with it own power source /cable, shouldn’t it run a bit faster?

I have most everything on my external 2TB drive. Runs great. Haven’t had any issues.
