According to Entertainment Weekly, the comic is written by Greg Pak with illustrations from Daniel Bayliss.
The most important part of the comic however, is Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China will meet Snake Plissken from Escape from New York, both of which are of course by played by Kurt Russell in their respective movies.
John Carpenter, director of both movies, has given the comic his blessing. Carpenter feels Metal Gear Solid is a rip-off of Escape from New York, however urged CanalPlus not to pursue Konami for damages.
In addition, Boom! Studios will be publishing two non-fiction books by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry to mark Big Trouble in Little China’s 30th anniversary.
I will be checking this out just from my love of Big Trouble in Little China. It will be interesting to see how they handle Jack and Snake together.
