While Ubisoft may well have confirmed all of the known titles they’re bringing to E3 2019, there is still room for “one or two more things” at their show. One of those may well have been leaked early thanks to a partial trailer uncovered on ResetEra. Roller Champions appears to step into arena sports as players compete in roller derby tournaments.
According to the few details leaked alongside the trailer, the online-only title will offer quickplay matches, ranked matches, and tournaments, as well as the opportunity for players to set up their own rules in custom matches. Aspects of the game’s sound can also be customised, such as the crowd, music, voices, and sound effects. A streamer mode will be available for those looking for a wider audience for their matches.
The partial trailer, which can be seen here shows off a colourful arena on the sunny beach of Acapulco, as well as a multi-tiered stadium in Mexico that’s also seen in the image above.
There are no details on the developer, nor do we have any idea when the game will be releasing. More news is expected at E3, and Ubisoft will be taking to the stage at 1PM PT on June 10th.
