Netflix’s new Sci-Fi series just dropped today. Anyone watched this yet? I watched the first episode and it was pretty good. Probably will binge this over the week.
I plan to start this over the weekend, probably tonight after some pub stomping.
I plan to binge it this weekend.
I want to see this…too much gaming to do…mmm priorities
Okay, I didn’t realize this dropped today.
I’ll be binging as soon as i get home.
I read all of the books, I’m a huge fan of the Takeshi Kovach series. I can’t wait to see this adaptation.
I have high hopes.
Watched the first two episodes. So far so good. Really like it and there is a crap ton of nudity.
I did not read the books but turning out to be a good cyberpunk murder mystery.
Watch this…I’m on episode 6 and I think it’s damn good
Can confirm. Fucking awesome. Just started Episode 6. Watch this show. Good stuff.
Great adaptation of the source material.
Lots of nudity. Even a full frontal with a shaved beaver which is usually something you don’t see on a TV show / Movie.
yea but she was dead so…
at this point i think we should start a spoilers discussion thread…there so much to discuss…so much going on
Good so far after a couple of episodes.
No, I’m talking about the ad for the replacement skin.
I’ve watched the first couple of episodes, and it’s shaping up to be a good show so far. Can’t wait to see how it all pans out.
The future has shaved beaver?
ugly future
Just starting watching this, pretty sure I was hooked from about 10 minutes in.
Immediately considered The Matrix and Face/Off as influences - though clearly it’s more than that.
I generally just love any well designed sci-fi world though.
@unobtainaballs Ive been telling my wife the same thing, those exact 2 movies. Face/off for the skin part and matrix with pretty much everything else. We both got hooked on it from the getgo. Best sifi ive seen in a while. Love how crude it is.
Question tho, did the altered carbon books come out before The Matrix?
Matrix was 1999. AC book came out in 2002.
The Matrix may of been the best sci-fi movie I have ever seen. I went in not knowing what I was in for and was blown away not only the action but the story. It was some next level shit.
Remember when Hollywood had original ideas? Pepperidge Farms… Something or other…
I remember thinking the premise of Face/Off sounded terrible and then turning out that I liked the movie.
