I used beam yesterday to stream a couple world of tanks matches. I donā€™t think I am part of the grg stream team yet though.

I stream usually during the day. I hate dragging everyones speed down in the evening. Usually on twitch but tried out Beam yesterday. Twitch is iixsaltxii and Beam is IIxSALTxII. Like Shadow I wanted to snag the GT before it was gone

Beam has a delay unless you use FTL there are directions on the site.

On Beam, streams have under one second of delay. Using our brand new streaming protocol dubbed ā€œFTLā€, you can interact with live-streams as if you were in the same room as the caster.

The best part? Itā€™s entirely HTML5, so it doesnā€™t require resource heavy browser plugins like Flash, and since we use VP8 for encoding it uses less bandwidth.

How is this possible? Will it scale? The answers are magic, and yes.

Tried streaming some ME: Andromeda on Beam but couldnā€™t get it to work. Iā€™ll probably try again after work today.

On the XBONE I have a delay with my picture and soundā€¦no delay with Twitch.

Drives me nuts.

Ok. Cool. I prefer twitch. Iā€™m just not sure how to start and stop a twitch broadcast now. I used to say Xbox broadcast but that brings beam up.
