Dan Aykroyd has joined the cast of Paul Feig’s female-led “Ghostbusters” movie, the Original Ghostbuster announced on Facebook on Tuesday.

I haven’t been paying attention I didn’t realize they were gonna make this without the real cast. I have no problem with women playing the roles I just don’t know if I can get in to it. You can’t replace the original cast. Not even close. Rick Moranis retired from acting and Harold Ramis past away.

So done with sequels and remakes.

It could work if Feig can resist making the bulk of the movie a statement of “Oh, look, they’re women busting ghosts.”

However, I have a bad feeling that point will be crammed down our throats, which would be unfortunate with the cast they’ve assembled.
