beers' intro...again

So, apparently we should all be doing this again? Writing down boring information about ourselves and what we like, as if anyone else is going to read it and actually enjoy it. Whatever…

So, my name is Sean and I think you can look at me in the same way you look at Martin Luther King Jr., Richard Pryor, Ellen Degeneres even Jenna Jameson who all paved the way for their specific races, personalities or fields of interest. I paved the way for Canadians to invade this group of stuck up, filthy bunch of animals.

Okay, maybe I didn’t, but who’s to say?

I’m 42 years old, married for 14 years, together for 22. We have two kids, a 11 year old boy and a 16 year old girl. I work for one of the biggest telecommunication companies in the world as a field technician and I love it. I am out on the road all day, working at my own pace, without anyone looking over my shoulder half the time.

I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember. I have had so many different systems and handhelds from the 2600, Intellivision and Commodore 64 to current gen consoles and beyond. The only systems that I never owned were a PS1 or 2, I just didn’t get into them that much, and I was too busy living life at the time to care. And, I hope I’m not the only one here that misses arcades, but I really do.

I got on the original XBOX on day one thanks to my wife buying it for me, and I cracked it open and first played it in my daughters hospital room. Unfortunately, I forgot my password back then and had to change my GT from leafsandbeer to the current iconic beers and leafs. I didn’t really get into MP until pretty recently. I think my first game that I played MP and actually interacted with the other players was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

I got onto 2old2play through an ad I saw somewhere - I can’t remember where - but I checked it out, joined up with 2 old 2 eh? (never once played with any of them). Then I was recruited by Project Mayhem which was great while it lasted - egos ruin everything. Then I moved on to Relics of Doom, which again was great for awhile. Eventually they started to fade away, then they left 2old2play and started their own site relicsofgaming, and now they are all but extinct. I got into shoot through Stungun, and have enjoyed almost every minute of it.

On some more personal stuff:
I love food
I have currently 6 tattoos - working on another two right now
I spent 32 months in jail when I was 18
I play softball, run a team and coach 3 other teams - I get to game a lot more from September until April then I do from April to September.
