Best MMOs to Play Right Now

As the majority of us minus the almighty Lala jump from game to game I found this article with the best MMOs to play right now (written 11 days ago). I am about to look at it now so not sure how agreeable I will be with the list but figured it is good for discussion.

Albion Online looks interesting and the hardware requirements are low since it supposed to support tablets. It’s a shame it’s not coming to consoles. That doesn’t make much sense.

Tera is coming to consoles soon. I’ve never played it. It will be free to play and will probably beat you over the head to visit the cash shop.

Final Fantasy as 2? Over Guild Wars 2, Star Wars Old Republic and Elder Scrolls online? Bullshit. The arcticle must of been written by a reddit /r/mmorpg hive mind knucklehead.

Of course Warcraft is one. Not really so sure about that other than player base. The game is so dated. Combat, text based quests, boring repeating quests (kill 10 of this, collect 15 of that OVER and FUCKING OVER). While it has to be listed as 1 I really do feel like it’s time has come and gone.

I’ve seen Jammer play more games in the past week than I’ve ever seen him play. And I thought I had gamer ADD.

I continue to look at Albion Online but haven’t pulled the trigger. Warcraft while dated still likely has the massive numbers of players that are still dedicated to it no matter how dated it is.

Just for that I am downloading another one.

I’d need to get access to a demo first. Give like 5 hours of trial time.

Yeah that is what is holding me back though $30 isn’t a bad price. If the game is enjoyable and you can use it on tablets and phones, that is a nice feature. I do worry that they are spreading themselves way thin by having it available in so many areas.

Just started neverwinter ps4…decent so far kinda like Diablo.
Ff14 was kinda blah to me…sux being a religious ff buyer
That’s it for me…see how neverwinter goes…

This was a review written about Albion while they were still in early stages 6 months ago.

Sucker…

BTW, do they have a Linux client?

Only way to know is if you buy it.

They do have a Linux client.
