Season 6 of Black Ops Cold War will see the final round-based map arrive for Call of Duty Zombies players.

Players who jump into Forsaken will experience various pieces of new content, including a new Perk, Wonder Weapon, two additional Support Weapons, and more.

Forsaken will also be the closing chapter of the Dark Aether storyline that has played out in the previous five seasons of Cold War Zombies and is expected to tie into the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies experience that Treyarch Studios is also developing.

Cold War Season 6 new Zombies perk

PhD Slider is the tenth, and final Zombies Perk in Black Ops Cold War and will be available for players to use to fight against the undead on the Forsaken map. You can find the official description of the new perk below:

“Sliding into enemies triggers an explosion. The size and damage increases the farther you slide before impact.”

Players can also take advantage of other effects by using their Aetherium Crystals to level up the perk’s skill tiers, including full immunity to self-inflicted explosive damage and the ability to trigger an explosive payload after falling from a vertical distance, and more.

New Wonder Weapon: the Chrysalax

Forsaken will have its unique Wonder Weapon that players can acquire and use to dominate their enemies.

As with other Wonder Weapons, players will have to complete a quest to obtain it, but once they have, they can wield it like a Battle Axe or convert it to a rapid-fire energy weapon.

New Zombies Support Weapons – ARC-XD and Hand Cannon

Hand Cannon Support Weapon

Black Ops Cold War Season 6 will see the arrival of two new support weapons for players to use against Zombies. You can find these two new Support Weapons and their official descriptions below:

ARC-XD —The Aether Remote-Controlled Explosive Device (ARC-XD) is an advanced Support Weapon fitted with an Aetherium Crystal that acts as a decoy, emitting a sound to draw enemy attention. The ARC-XD will continually pulse a small Aether blast that can kill normal enemies and launch them on contact. It is capable of fitting through tight crawl spaces, yet powerful enough to send a group of undead soldiers back to their graves.

Hand Cannon —Originally found as a hidden weapon in the Campaign and introduced to Multiplayer in Season Four, the Hand Cannon joins Zombies as one of Season Six’s Support Weapons. Hindered only by a strong vertical kick and slow rate of fire, the Hand Cannon can blast away zombies with ease, especially Special and Elite enemies with precision shots.”

Also, Reputable website COD Tracker has outed a playable arcade for the new Forsaken Zombies map in Black Ops Cold War Season 6. Its existence has been identified by a specific Forsaken Calling Card.

It appears that another fully playable arcade is all set to appear in Treyarch’s new Forsaken Zombies map in Cold War.

It’s the Zombies follow-up that many Call of Duty Zombies fans have wanted since Infinite Warfare and is set to drop with the launch of Season 6.

player fighting players in arcade in zombies in spaceland

The bulk of round-based Zombie warfare revolves around fending off wave after wave of unrelenting, undead forces trying to end you.

But 2016’s wacky ‘Zombies in Spaceland’ map, found in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, was a drastic change of pace from the more serious nature of most Zombies maps.

One of its standout features was a series of interactable mini-games that players could take part in, including a shooting gallery rollercoaster and a fully playable arcade.

Now, Black Ops Cold War looks set to reintroduce the arcade element and incentivize players to do so with a free Calling Card. Found by COD Tracker, the condition for the Calling Card suggests that players will be partaking in fun, carnival games once more.

Just like in Zombies in Spaceland, Forsaken looks to be encouraging players to take a break from the zombie-slaying and go and have some fun with casual games.
