CD Projekt Red has warned fans that any emails inviting them to a Cyberpunk 2077 beta aren’t genuine, and that CDPR has no plans for a beta.
CDPR shared a quick statement to say that “if you recently received an email claiming to be granting you beta access to Cyberpunk 2077, it’s not from us. Unfortunately, there have been more of these being sent out over the past few weeks. When we contact you via email, it’ll always come from @ cdprojektred com address. Same goes for content creators. We always reach out directly from @ cdprojektred com domain. If you are being contacted by a third party claiming to be working with us (an ad agency for example), you can assume it’s not genuine.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like actual beta invites will be happening either, since CDPR replied to a fan to confirm there are no plans for a beta. The last major news we had for the game was at June’s Night City Wire event, where we had a look at the Badlands, Braindance, Ripperdocs, and all other sorts of Cyberpunk details. However, it shouldn’t be too long until we get another in-depth look at the game, since CDPR confirmed during the event that there will be another Night City Wire.
