I’ve seen this mentioned on Reddit. Specially from PC player. They use this to manipulate the color on your display to adjust to time of day and lighting available.

I use it on my PC, I like it - not entirely sure if it helps though I can see the difference if it is off.
I use something similar on my Android phone too, think its called Twilight.
Works fine.
Both can be set to specific times or just daylight times which works perfectly for me.
