is it bad or are ppl just bitches? @Fallout76Players
I wouldn’t believe any Day One Reviews…ppl haven’t played enough yet to do a proper review.
People are bitching. It’s not a traditional FO so fan boys are going nuts. I have read multiple post on reddit where the person was like “I was wrong it may not be traditional fallout but I am having a blast”.
And this is an issue…
“One of the reasons for the overwhelmingly negative response is that the game is unavailable through Steam” …That is not a review.
Almost every FO or ES has been lit up with bad reviews the first year. Then mods come out, modders fix the bugs, etc and review scores start changing.
That being said it does need optimization and bug fixes.
Is the game glitchy as hell? Yes, and that I can understand as a pain point for players, because they always release a mess of a game on day one. Bethesda needs to do better in that respect.
That said, people are whiny bitches. I have seen so many laughable points against Fallout 76 in user and print reviews. First off, if you’re going melodramatic, or calling anyone who likes the game a fanboy just for liking it, you’re a dimwitted douche whose opinion is nothing. Tear apart the bugs if you will - and you’re valid in doing so, Bethesda has no excuse for the bugs on release of the average Fallout title - but you have no credibility when you make those claims or say shit like “Oh God please forgive me for buying this title.”
Hell, I saw a game site review that complained about Fallout 76 having lag while calling Call of Duty a smooth FPS experience. Are you shitting me? Lag comp has been an issue for 8 years with most of those titles? That tells me you’re a fanboy that has no clue of one’s flaws while going after another. Same review said that Red Dead had no bugs…um then why can’t many people see NPCs in their camp? You shouldn’t review a game if you’re that clueless.
Like I said…it has bugs, and it’s dumb that Bethesda has this many bugs 4 Fallout games in. But these reviews are also a joke.
Here’s a case in point. From a user review that gave the game a 1:
A large part of what made Fallout interesting is absent in 76, that is the ability to loot damn-near every container around you. You start in a vault surrounded by desks and lockers but you’re unable to search them, whereas in the previous games you were able to pull all kinds of junk out of them if you so desired.
Interesting…because when I got out of the vault, I found a lot of shit. In fact, I stepped out of the vault, and looted 4 corpses, 3 containers outside, and a bus with 4-5 containers. But then I hit this user’s next paragraph…
On the topic of loot, it is the only thing that makes this game even worth glancing at,
Well…wait…which is it? Is there no loot, or is there lots of loot?
This is how stupid whiny bitches are…
Fallout 76 solo is FO Lite.
Fallout 76 co-op is FO Lite Co-op.
It’s the only Fallout with co-op though and most of that side of things are done well.
Glitches and bugs in a Bethesda game are nothing new.
However, I have to imagine mods will be restrained to private servers in this particular game.
I thought the main reason was it wasn’t released on steam.
I love the Fallout series, but I’m pretty Meh on this one. At least so far…
