Gaaaah. Restarting from scratch would be easier. Made it to lvl 51 and moved my base. Ive accommodated it with 4 beds on the second level and a fully operational workshop on the 3rd. 5 purified water pumps (small). A lead extractor. So if im on and you need a place to re arm and refit hit me up.

really fearing this nerf they are planning on the two shots. My usual walking around rifle is a 2 shot pipe rifle, can’t remember when i got it but it is a lv5 1 star, haven’t found anything else too useful. Its not even explosive or anything but that is probably because I’ve had relatively low luck special points. I’ve got my damage output to about 200 though with the rifleman perks.

I’m lv59 now (edit)

New Survival Mode Teased for Fallout 76

Last week, Bethesda teased upcoming content for Fallout 76, although very few details were given. It was recently revealed that this project has been titled “Survival,” and it’s the new game mode arriving for fans in the future. With Patch 5 on the way as well, there’s plenty to see on what’s to come.

Inspired by more “competitive” players, Survival Mode comes with decreased restrictions on PVP combat and a higher risk when exploring. Supported with ranked leaderboards, all players outside of a team or group are considered hostile, meaning any survivor can kill, or be killed. The mode will be accessible through the main menu with the option to create an entirely new character upon launch. Pre-existing characters can also be used; however, anything that happens in survival mode—good or bad—will be carried over into Adventure mode as well.

As for Patch 5, the majority of fixes are still directed at bugs and glitches that remain in-game. However, weapon and armor modifications are also set to change. Due to an issue with players unintentionally scrapping mods, the process must now be done manually with any modifications that are loose. Furthermore, both the the Two-Shot and Explosive legendary mods have received balance tweaks to adjust the damage output. More upcoming fixes are listed below:

  • A “(Known)” tag will now appear next to recipes and plans you’ve already learned in Vendor and player inventories, and trade menus.
  • The Traveling Pharmacy Perk will now correctly reduce the weight of RadAway and other Chems.
  • Early Warnings quest progress will no longer become stuck when crafting Upgraded Motors, and logging out after crafting Upgraded Motors will no longer reset the quest tracker to 0/5.
  • And many more bug fixes

Finally, Bethesda noted that additional exploits would also be addressed in the future, as they continue to investigate reports sent in by players. The rest of Patch 5 will be revealed on the day of launch.

The Survival Mode beta is expected to launch sometime in March with more updates planned further in the future. Patch 5 is still scheduled to release at the end of January.

Scrapping: Loose weapon and armor mods are now protected from autoscrapping when crafting. However, they can still be scrapped manually if a player wants to break them down into scrap components.

Plans and Recipes: When viewing a plan or recipe in a menu, a “(Known)” tag will now appear next to the names of recipes and plans the player has already learned.

Happy about these two.

Ah.
Looks like this patch also managed to undo a whole bunch of previous fixes.

These are some of the ones I’ve seen mentioned.

  • Bobby pin weight
  • Character freeze on initial load
  • Game crashes
  • Enemies HP replenishing unless using melee weapons
  • Unable to craft using bulked components
  • Duping exploit back

Update from Bethesda.

I’m looking forward to this Fallout 76 game!

Bethesda Announces Fallout 76 Free DLC Roadmap for 2019

With the rocky start to Fallout 76 behind them, Bethesda has acknowledged their mistakes and player complaints in a new post while laying out the roadmap for the 2019 free DLC lineup. The rollout consists of three themed seasons: “Wild Appalachia” coming this spring, “Nuclear Winter” this summer, and “Wastelanders” in the fall. Each will have a combination of new quests, features, game modes (“Wastelanders” is unconfirmed for modes), events, and more.

You can check out the specific breakdown for each DLC below:

Wild Appalachia

  • New Quests: Ever Upwards - May 7th – Journey to the deepest reaches of the woods with new stories for the legendary Pioneer Scouts. Earn merit badges, climb the ranks, and earn a customizable backpack for increased utility.
  • New Features: Legendary Vendor and Scrapping - May 23rd – Locate the mysterious Purveyor to exchange and scrap your unwanted legendary items for new legendary gear. For every star rating on a legendary item you scrap, increase your chances to get the legendary weapon or armor of your dreams.

Nuclear Winter

Summer will bring another series of major updates to Fallout 76, including Nuclear Winter - an entirely new way to play that changes the rules of the wasteland.

  • New Game Mode: Nuclear Winter – An entirely new way to play Fallout 76, completely changing the rules of the Wasteland.
  • New Vault Raids: Vaults 96 and 94 Opening – For our most seasoned players, test your strength in all new high-level group Vault Raids.
  • New Feature: Legendary Players – An all-new prestige system will allow players above level 50 to become Legendary, resetting their characters with all new more powerful abilities.

Wastelanders

Embark on a tale with true choice and consequences in Wastelanders – our biggest and most ambitious update for 76. Wastelanders will include a new main questline, new factions, new events, new features and even more surprises.

While the latter expansions remain somewhat vague concerning the specifics of the content offered, it is clear that Bethesda will be consistently supporting Fallout 76 this year.

“Wild Appalachia” begins rolling out March 12th.
