As spotted by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad, the announcement was made via Ubisoft’s latest earnings report. In the report, Ubisoft cites “production challenges related to work from home” during the COVID-19 pandemic as one of the reasons for the delays. Both games have been pushed back into Ubisoft’s next financial year, with Ubisoft explaining on an investor call that the two games will launch sometime between April 2021 and September 2021.

Rainbow Six Quarantine did not have a firm release date, but it was due to launch before March 31st, 2021. Far Cry 6, on the other hand, had already been scheduled for a February 18th release.
