Fix for extended matchmaking times in Modern Warfare and Warzone coming

Infinity Ward has confirmed on Twitter that they are working to fix the extended matchmaking wait times that players have been experiencing in Modern Warfare and Warzone since the April 28 update.

Activision Support first noted on Friday, May 1 that the issue had been resolved, but many players are still experiencing issues and extended wait times while matchmaking.

Joe Cecot, MP Director at IW, has confirmed on Twitter that they have identified the problem and are working on a fix.

@JoeCecot
a fix for this one the way? Been stuck on this for about 10 mins now.
You guys claimed you fixed it but that clearly wasn’t the case. Hope you
get this fixed sooner than later. pic.twitter.com/MIcaHci6lB

There is no ETA on the fix, but the matchmaking issues has caused players difficulties in playing the game all weekend long.

Stay tuned.
