Game of Thrones Talk (Spoilers welcomed!)

I will miss her. She was great. Finally they said who killed Joffery (the cunt). We all knew it was her but it was something that had to be answered. I liked how she waited to figure out how she was going out before putting that last shot in.

Cersei will continue to dominate her foes. Ellaria Sand got what was coming to her. There wasn’t any reason for Ellaria to kill Cersei’s kid, she did it out of spite. Oberyn chose to fight for Tyrion on his own accord. He beat the Mountain but had to fucking gloat. He paid the Iron Price and got his head smashed in. That’s no one’s fault other than Oberyn. Ellaria was being shitty and now has to pay for it. I can’t fault Cersei for it.

Wake up people, listen to Jon Snow. He’s the only one fighting the good fight. WTF… There’s a reason the 1000 foot wall is in place. To keep bad shit out (love the Grumpkin reference!!!).

Daenerys is a fucking twat that doesn’t deserve to be “Queen of the Seven Kingdoms”. I got the feeling she’ll die right after taking that “title”. All she ever done was be born a Targayren. Her military tactics suck balls as seen tonight. She got played last week with the naval battle. She got played at Castelry Rock and she got played with the battle at the Tyrells. Stupid girl, say at home and brush your hair.

Finally, Jaime Lannister’s armor is so fucking bad ass. If I still played Guild Wars 2 I’d so make my Warrior or Guardian’s armor look like that. Yeah, I’m a little gay for that armor.

All in all it’ was a very fast paced episode. They could of easily made the show 2 full episodes. They glossed over a lot.

Can’t forget the return of Bran to Winterfell. Next week Arya will return. The starks are gathering their own power and unlike the Lannisters, they can divide and conquer a little easier as they will all have their strengths and be able to cover each other’s weaknesses.

I have no problem seeing Sand die horribly. She sought vengeance for her guy being an arrogant twat, and almost killing Tyrion in the process.

Dany is getting played by someone, but who? I feel they’re pushing too hard toward Varys, but I cant think of who else now that Lady Tyrell is dead.

And how great was that scene? Even in defeat, Lady Tyrell won.

Saw a great tweet. Someone mentioned that Cersei gets revenge on the Sands, defeats the Tyrell, and gets the money for the iron bank, while only losing Castely Rock. They said she’s up 3-1, and we all know how that turns out.

Agreed on Lady Tyrell ! The only women I thought could put Cersei away really. Love the defiance to the bitter end, and her commentary. Wondering who will pay for that once Cersei finds out, as I am not sure if any Tyrells are left.

Varys or the red witch have to be the spy as they “both will die in a strange land” They also seemed to mention the red witch, bringing Jon back to life… like oops. Has to be a reason for it. Love Jon Snow the more the show makes me like him, the more I am sure he will die LOL

That armor and upgrading your horse wang. Nice to know you can admit it.
It does look bad-ass though, awesome with the Lion Head’s on the shoulders.

Joffrey the Cunt wore very similar armor.

I had to wait a night for the wife to get back in town. Awesome episode but I agree that they seemed to gloss over some big points. Especially the Casterly Rock battle. How was that not a bigger scene, I think it would have been if they didn’t have such a short season. I have rewatched up to season 6 this last 2 weeks. Tyrion told the story of how he was put in charge of the sewers of Casterly Rock earlier in the series.
I’m waiting for Jon Snow to tell the story or show the wounds of his death. That may be the only way to prove he is not crazy.

If Snow is a dead man come back to life, can he have children. He has sworn not to and Daenerys has sworn not to have any either. The old Targaryen love story comes back to life. Cousins in love and flying on dragons with their little dwarf buddy Tyrion.

I just want to know what happens, this is why I like binge watching.

Jon Snow is no longer part of the Night’s Watch. He fulfilled his oath when he died. So he’s not bound by it any longer.

BTW, I still think the Dwarf buddy (Tyrion) is Targaryan as well. I’m not sure they go into it on the show but in the books they hint at the fact the Mad King banged Tyrions mom. This could explain why Tywin hated Tyrion so much. There are three dragons and I’m assuming there will be three riders.

Huh, its been a long while but I don’t remember the Targaryan banging the Lannister mother from the books. I imagine I will try to read the last couple after the season ends. Not sure if it will matter, the next book in the series might not be for 5 years or so.

At this point why would he even bother writing the next book.

Joanna Lannister and Aerys II “The Mad King” Targaryen:

In the A Song of Ice and Fire series, it’s said that even once Tywin and Joanna Lannister married, Aerys was still infatuated with her. In reference to Joanna, he drunkenly joked about how it was a pity that the tradition of first night, which allowed the king to sleep with new brides, was banned. Ser Barristan Selmy also seemed to corroborate that Aerys took unwanted liberties with Joanna during her bedding ceremony. Aerys’ continued lust for Joanna was a constant source of friction between he and Tywin. It’s possible that, at some point after Tywin and Joanna married, Aerys got his way and bedded Joanna Lannister, whether be force, blackmail, or otherwise. Might Tyrion have been the result of that union?

According to those who knew Tywin and Joanna well, the only time Tywin smiled was when Joanna was present. And when Joanna died giving birth to Tyrion, the best part of Tywin died with her. In spite of Joanna’s death, if Tywin’s love for her was so great, why did he hate Tyrion? His eldest son Jaime is a member of the Kingsguard and cannot marry, meaning that Tyrion is the only one who can legitimately carry on Tywin’s branch of House Lannister. Tywin continually refuses to consider Tyrion his heir, which seems odd given his focus on family and legacy. In A Storm of Swords, Tywin rebukes Tyrion by telling him:

Men’s laws give you the right to bear my name and display my colors, since I cannot prove that you are not mine. To teach my humility, the gods have condemned me to watch you waddle about wearing that proud lion that was my father’s sigil and his father’s before him. But neither gods nor men shall compel me to turn Casterly Rock into your whorehouse.

Tywin wants to be respected, and doesn’t think having a dwarf for a son is respectable. He’s also nursing an irrational grudge against Tyrion for killing his mother in childhood. But this could also be an acknowledgment by Tywin that Tyrion is not, in fact, his son.

“Enough with the clever plans.” I sense some serious dragon carnage coming next episode…

im guessing one dragon will die this season

Yeah those giant arrows are taking at least one down. If not the fight would be game over with no drama which way it goes.

It would have to be a surprise arrow. I can’t see that thing being mobile enough to hit a dragon out of the sky.

There is no potential drama of her losing if they don’t take out at least one dragon.

Or

Cersei all but wins. She’s about to go all Joffery on Daenerys and Jon when the Kingslayer becomes a Queenslayer. Redeeming himself and the Lannister name.

Then they all go up Norf, hand in hand and curb stomp the Night King.

I’m starting to wonder if Dany isn’t going to take control of the 7 kingdoms and start to go nuts like her dad did. At first, I thought the conversation between her and Varys was to make him look like the mole in her group, but now I wonder if he’s not going to have to be instrumental in bringing her down if she goes Mad Queen.

Interesting. I need to read the last 2 books again. So many little things that could come up in the shows that have not yet

http://nerdist.com/history-of-thrones-the-horn-of-winter-and-why-it-could-all-come-crashing-down/

Wouldn’t this be “I’m hot for my Aunt Dany/Nephew Jon”
Just a minor technicality, but still in line with the historical Targaryen incestuous bloodline.

I am totally down with the nerdist theory about Arya as well.

She is no one.
