The game had a shelf life for 2 weeks at GRG. No one is playing it now. They expect people to wait on DLC with no details. Good luck.
I jumped back in and played some this weekend. Itâs a fun game just not something I can play hours on end.
Edited to add I actually preferred this game Solo. Itâs way to easy with a group of 4.
Yeah i need to jump back in and finish the storylineâŚmaybe even the division with all its updates as well
This is how Ubisoft has been working lately. Release a game and focus on shitty cosmetics to coast through until the next game is released. Iâll believe the PvP DLC when it happens, which theyâve been promising since before launch. The sole reason I bought the game, and the reason Iâve stopped playing it. You canât keep your gaming base in the dark like the Division. Thatâs exactly how theyâve treated this game
Meh on 4v4 PVP. I assume they are going to make small levels out of the current map by sectioning them off.
This would be a great game to have âSurvivalâ type PVP. Multiple teams of 4 running around on the map doing their quest and running into the other groups at the same time.
They had 4v4 in the original GR for OG Xbox and it worked great. Tactical and stealth gameplay combined with teamwork and communication. The maps varied from massive to small to bring in different combat situations. I am expecting the same thing from Wildlands. Unfortunately theyâve gone the route of The Division and R6 Siege and ignored their player base.
Fuck PvP.
Not interested.
I only enjoyed this game whilst messing around and playing co-op.
It got too repetitive playing solo.
Havenât finished it.
Not interested in the plot.
So if it just came out as Ubisoftâs Wildlands you would be more ok with it? The GR name I think through a lot of people off with their expectations for the game. I played the old ones and loved them but I never expected Wildlands to be a real GR game after seeing the first trailer.
I am kind of a survival PVP nut now. No other shooter can give you that feeling that your being watched and about to loose all your shit. Wildlands is actually setup perfect for it. Big open map, vehicles, loot it screams for that type of PVP, IMO. If PUBG would hurry up and hit xbox you will know the feeling I am talking about. It makes all the old shooter modes boring unfortunately. Itâs almost like crack.
Edited to add: @xxxNAILBUNNYxxx you would love the new F2P game by the ARMA devs. It is what GR used to be pretty much.
If it was a stand alone Wildlands game, I think I could accept it more. It doesnât deserve the GR title. GR was always PvP focused with a challenging solo campaign attached.
I definitely want to check out PUBG. The PC players have created an itch I canât scratch yet. I keep whining about not having a game that I havenât been able to sink my teeth into since Ark. Every MP out there feels bland and repetitive.
You canât count on DLC being good, relevant or game changing. If you donât have it in the base game then it probably wonât have it. Besides, havenât we all learned from the Divisionâs Season Pass? What a waste of money that was.
This. Still butthurt about this game. Iâll never forgive Ubisoft.
It was supposed to be my last season pass. I fucked up and bought BF1 Premium. Figured theyâd have quicker map releases. Now I probably wonât play half of them due to the fall games coming out. Fail.
Just say no to Season Passes.
I said the same, and then Wildlands was released with the PvP promise. Guess who bought the seasons pass?
