So it finally dawned on me that I could be playing some games while working from home. Maybe something quiet, turn-based, or at least easily pausable.
So far, I’ve come up with Gwent as a possibility. I think something like chess would be too dry.
Do any other good games come to mind?
Thanks!

Not sure as I really don’t play those games.
Maybe something like a MMO. ESO is just filled with mini quests that you can do and “pause” or put the controller down.

Yeah if you are into strategy games, i would recommend Stellaris (did a review on this one recently) or Warhammer: Total War.

Any simulator style games are usually pausable like farming sim or snowrunner. Turn based games are good for it too like For the King

Divinity Orginial Sin, Wasteland 2, XComs, BattleTech…any single player game can be paused as well.

That makes sense. For some reason, I was thinking about turn-based games that are always paused unless you take an action.

For the king is a coop too, right? I keep hearing about that one.
There’s so much shit to do, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will keep you busy until they have a cure for COVID.

I started Odyssey at the beginning of this stay at home crap. I eventually got bored of killing guards… didn’t think it could happen, but it did. Need to get back in there before Valhalla drops.
Check out Game Pass, lots of good, time wasting games there. Civilization VI can be had for $29.99, Doom Eternal is a must own as well.
