Microsoft has announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be fully optimised for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S next month.
Available for free to existing owners and via Xbox Game Pass on November 17th, the collection will target 120fps in both campaign and multiplayer modes on both of Microsoft’s next-gen consoles. For those on Xbox Series X, Halo: MCC will be playable in up to 4K. Cross-gen play and the much-requested adjustable FOV feature will also be available with this update.
With Halo Infinite not launching until sometime in 2021, perhaps the six classic Halo titles included in Halo: MCC all running at a buttery-smooth 120fps might just fill the void.
The Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes to Xbox Series X|S on November 17th.
