Headset reqs (PS4)

Didn’t see another good general-purpose forum to use for this so here it is. :stuck_out_tongue:

Any recs on a good but not super pricy PS4 headset? Amazon has this one Bengoo unit on a crazy discount but I’m unfamiliar with that brand.

Thanks in advance!

Moved this to General Discussion.

I’m not sure of your budget or if you wanted wired / wireless ones. Take a look at the HyperX series headsets, they sound amazing. A lot of guys have the SteelSeries Arctis Headsets and love them for how comfortable they are. I use Sennheiser Game Zeros and love them (but I’m XBox). I’m assuming a 3.5mm connection works on a PS4 controller.

I have the HyperX Cloud II Alpha Pro and can not recommend them enough. Comfortable and sound great. Dual chamber so the mids and highs are separated from the bass and it really helps. They have a inline volume and mute button also which is a must for PS4 headsets IMO.

I use these with a Astro Mix Amp which gives them more power and makes them sound even better.

Also, are you wanting wired or wireless??

Ah didn’t see that I could post directly in GD. Looked like a category. Thanks for the shuffle.

Looking at wireless. I have the old Sony headset that requires the USB dongle. Hoping to get away from having to swap it out for charge cable.

I have the Logitech Artemis Spectrum G933’s. They are wireless for PS4 and PC and use the 3.5mm for Xbox or for other devices.

Multiple equalizer settings, mute button or you can flip the mic up to mute. They are super comfortable, sound great and have some cool lighting effects as an added cosmetic.

I bought them on sale at Best Buy prob 6 months ago for 99 and they were 150 originally I believe. They have other models as well and we use the G633’s at my work for our training content laptop and they are near identical.

I can verify that your audio sounds good too.
Doesn’t pick up much background and your voice is clear.

Yah my audio is fine. It’s just I’ve got an old headset (Sony gold, IIRC) and physically, it’s starting to fall apart a bit. Plus it runs via a USB dongle that I have to keep switching in/out with charge cables.
