Who’s down to help me kill Crota? Me and 1 other person are wanting to get started wit TTK content but neither of us have killed Crota… What’s the point? Both of us are Lvl 40. I’m LL 245 she’s 50. Odds of us beating crota by our selves? I’m on ps4 and the gamers tag is AshyBone_B

I’d totally help. I enjoy the raid but I’m on One.
Can’t say I’ve tried since TTK, not sure how OP you’d be. Might be able to do it with two, depends if you’ve read up about the mechanics at all and how naturally skilled the two of you are.
I’ll probably be around to help from tonight through to Wednesday from about 8pm Eastern onwards.

I just saw your message man. I went through Destinylfg and put together a fireteam of 6 people who have never done the raid. It took us a while but we finally got to Crota. I think I were going at him for a good hour, two hours and couldn’t do it. So we called it a night. The problem was out timing. We couldn’t get it down so everybody just ended up gettin frustrated. I work nights so I’m not 100% sure I’ll be able to run the raid with you. If I get enough sleep tomorrow I’ll jump on and try it. From the times we were able to damage Crota we saw that when we were able to hit him I could take his life down by a forth so I figured we just need to drop him 4 times. It might be possible with 2 people I’m down to try.

Yeah the fight on him is a lot about timing.
You can only break down the exotics you gain for exotic shards.
Raid gear (from Crota raid) breaks down to ascendant Shards / Energy (Speaker can swap this to MoL or glimmer)
I got a year 1 4th horsemen form PoE. So Raid won’t drop Exotics or legendaries anymore? An Foxx, I’ll be sure to hit you up. I normally just play on the weekends so if you’re free friday saturday or sunday We can try it. How long does the check point last? Cuz with my last group we got to crota but we couldn’t beat him.

You should still be able to get legendary and exotics from the past raids.
Y1 Raids drop Y1 exotics and raid gear.
Exotics weren’t too common a drop as I recall.
Not sure on exact chances.
Checkpoint lasts until reset day, which is Tuesday (at 4am Central?)
Guess I lost my checkpoint then. Oh well. More fun for us starting at the beginning where we run through the lamps in darkness. AAAAAAAAAAWSOME!
