Hit The Waves In The Crew 2's Upcoming Gator Rush Expansion

Next month, the first free expansion for Ivory Tower and Ubisoft’s The Crew 2 will release and introduce a boat load of fun on the waters with a new motorsports discipline: Hovercrafts. Titled “Gator Rush”, the update will feature events made just for hovercrafting fun as three new air-cushioned vehicles will be pushed to the limits. Slide across terrain, coast over water, and knock your opponents out of the way while you cruise through several different in-game locations that have been revamped and changed slightly to better suit hovercraft runs.

Hovercrafts won’t be the only new content included in the upcoming update as 20 new activities will be added, including new Jetsprint, Hypercar, and Touring Car events, and there will also be a new episode available in the Live Xtrem series. A new difficulty level will be added to the game in the form of Ace mode, where players will be rewarded with Legendary Loot to customize their vehicles.

Alongside this free update, there will also be an opportunity for Season Pass owners to enjoy seven-days early access to two new vehicles that will be included in the game’s monthly vehicle drop. Get to grips with the buggy-style Ariel Nomad Rally Raid car as well as a fourth hovercraft. Those without a Season Pass can check out these vehicles on October 3rd.

Take a look at the Gamescom trailer for the upcoming update followed by a gameplay preview of the new discipline:

The “Gator Rush” update will be releasing in The Crew 2 on September 26th.

Does anyone have this game?

@D1G1TALC1PHERS I think you mentioned it at one point, either that or you said you played the first one?

Is it any good? Just as a fuck-about game maybe? Guessing it wouldn’t be worth full retail in that case…

@StreetRacer I remember once upon a time you were on ‘The Crew’ hype train. You have this one?
