Anyone here very make mead? I just ordered some basic equipment to make my first batch.

I have made some. Still haven’t tried it. I have been told the longer you let it set, the better it is. The local shop that I get my beer making supplies had some that had been sitting for over 20 years. Delicious. Don’t think I can wait that long but I’m shooting for 2 years before I crack mine open.

Just made first batch. Kept it simple with just water, honey, and yeast.
