I downloaded the damn thing but haven’t been able to join a chat room yet . What are the procedures of doing so ? Is it an invite only to the chat room ? Does the chat room offer free beer and food made from corn ?

You can use your PC web browser, download the discord PC app, or download the app for you smart phone. Accept that invite.
