I want a 24” 144HZ G-Sync Monitor

But I don’t want to spend more than $400.00. I had my eye on the Acer Predator but recent reviews are ripping it up. Appears there may be some quality issues. So, does anyone have suggestions?

I bought this one a few months back and let me tell you it blows my TV out of the water… by a long shot. I don’t have a PS4 Pro or a 1X yet so this works for my non 4k needs right now.

This is what I have been using for 3 months. It’s awesome. Not gsync but don’t need it. 144hz and no screen tearing. Samsung panel is beautiful.

Thanks guys. I guess the part I’m struggling with is, do I need/should I get G-Sync. I don’t want to buy a non g-sync monitor to later regret the decision.

I have gone back on forth over the same things. 21:9 vs 16:9, 1080 vs 1440 v 2640, Gsync vs 144hz. I finally found my sweet spot with the Viotek.

1440p is the perfect resolution for the 1070 as I would have had to crank it down to do 4k. Not going Gsync I was able to go up to 27" and get curved for less. 144hz is butter smooth and if for some reason I do get tearing then I just limit it to 120hz and problems solved.

One thing I can say is all monitors are going to have bad reviews for quality issues. These things get shipped all over the world and not sure about your UPS driver but my doesn’t give a shit what is in the box. Just buy it from a place like Amazon or Bestbuy that has a good return policy. The last thing I will say is do your research on the panel the monitor uses. Most of these monitors all use panels from the same manufacture. It really comes down to how they handle warranties.
