So i went to skim this but the more i read, the more it made sense and i became super intrigued… really hope its true cuz it could make for one hell of a movie.
another movie they don’t mention that does a similar thing was Iron Man 3 when everyone thought The Mandarin was the villian.
Christian Bale sucked as a Batman, he was a mumbling twat. The only decent role was Heath Ledger’s Joker. I don’t want to see Bale come back.
It’s an interesting idea, and probably a lot better than where it looks like it’s going, but I agree with Lala - not a fan of Bale’s Batman. That voice he used was beyond ridiculous.
They referenced Batman’s cowl in the article, especially the ears. That costume (bulk, small ears) is coming straight from the Dark Knight Returns.

i don’t know. that sounds cool but the authors is making some pretty far leaps. that could just be the writers picking pieces they liked from all the batman iterations or just coincidence.
We shall see I guess. It would be better than recasting the whole Batman universe, just because Bale didn’t come back doesn’t mean they couldn’t have used Michael Caine as Alfred. But if there is one thing I know its that comics have several alternate universes where characters act extremely differently, probably why I never could get into them. So that may be the case here. Maybe they are moving on to a different view of the DC universe (like new 52) where they can bring the Joker back in a different way that doesn’t shit on the terrific job Ledger did
