Do we really need a full supervillain origin movie?
I know your question was meant to go unanswered but i think some characters are so complex that they make for great stories and in case of joker a tragedy…we love that shit
also with 3 jokers (its been fairly well established https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-three-Jokers-concept) much ground can be covered and still have plenty of material…
I think Smallville did a great job with Luther but cannot imagine Lex holding a standalone movie…his motivations are too played out.
