Long load screen

I’ve been getting this since last night, then the game drops back to main screen; says unable to connect to server.

Anyone else encountering this? any suggestions?

I am getting the long loading screen every time. I haven’t had the unable to connect part.

Yeah, if the load screens were any longer, they’d have to rename it GTA: Auridon.

I’ve had this issue all friggin day. In the words of Angry Joe “Fix this shit”.

Update: This has been fixed, was able to get into “main” character, no longer encountering “long load screen”.

I experienced the long load screen this weekend, but didn’t have it yesterday. What I did experience yesterday as well as one of the guys I was playing with was getting booted out to the dashboard when you try to interact with something, i.e. open a door, talk to someone, mine ore, etc I hope that’s not a side effect of whatever they did to fix the long loads.

I haven’t had that issue yet. I had one instance of an invisible boss fight;

the load screen/booted to main menu from past weekend was the most annoying ever, can’t be topped.
