after some server issues, Bones, Tremont (whom has applied), AlphaMack, and I started our first real heist. I started and paid the $40K to kick things off.
Steal a plane:
Not too hard. we drove to an airfield, killed ppl, took a plane. took us 2 tries cuz we underestimated the amount of troops. ppl got reckless and died while i was flying to plane back tot he airfield.
Steal a bus:
Bones and i went to take the bus, capped the driver, hopped in and rode off. Mack and Tremont were taking care of the cops. took us a little while cuz the bus is slow as fuck and kept getting spotted, but eventually we made it
Steal car/plans:
Bones and I had to acquire a police car, after a few tries to figure out what was really going on, we called 911, stole the car, lost the cops. then we walked into the police station like CHiPs and grabbed the documents. walked back out and drove back tot he apartment.
Meanwhile Tremont and alphamack were infiltrating a cargo ship to steal a car. apparently one of them got stuck in the water between the boat and the dock, then took half the time to get back up to where the action was.
assassination:
Bones and i grabbed some sniper rifles, went to a rooftop, and took out some guys. then the cops surrounded the scene. it took us a few magazines and a death to kill em all. grabbed the bag, and made it back to the planning room. Alpha and Tremont snuck onto some dudes property, expertly killing guys with silenced weapons without alarming the guards, in and out.
The Heist: Prison Escape
WOW… So Bones was a guard, I was a prisoner, Alphamack was the pilot, and Tremont was in charge of demolitions. Bones and I jumped in the stolen bus, drove calmly into the prison, tremont was blowing up the real bus that was supposed to be in our place. as we walked into the cell block a guard noticed i wasnt who i was supposed to be. He drew his weapon, we drew ours. Taking out a few guards and climbing onto the roof, we got instructions via radio where the prisoner was we were tasked to break out. Alpha i believe was flying in circles while this was happening… no idea what tremont was doing.
We find the guy, and then have to make it out of the prison with guards and cops all over, bones had acquired a heavy machine gun to help things along. eventually we made it to an armored truck and went back for the prisoner. Once he was inside we had to coordinate a place to meet the plane so we could hop in and escape… all this while we had 5 stars of freedom chasing us. Tremont secured a buzzard and started taking out helicopters and cars while we drove to trevers airfield. Alpha was sitting at the end waiting for us. I drove in circles to give tremont a little more time to take out the helos before we jumped into the plane. when it was time i drove towards the plane and cut the wheel so we could use the armored truck as a shield while we got in. alpha hit the throttle and we took off while tremont took out the rest of the choppers.
When we got to a point over the ocean, we gave the controls to the escaped prisoner and bailed, using our parachutes to glide to safety. few minutes later the chopper showed up, we jumped in, flew back to the city, split the reward.
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!! I think this is the high people get from raids in destiny… but this was WAY cooler. And i can’t wait to do it again in a different role.
