I’ve always been fond of the single shot DMR type rifles. I used to use the WW2 Garand and the M14 with Acog on BFBC2 all the time. I’ve now found their equivalant in this game.
For the Cops I’m using the Socom16
And for the Criminals I’m using the Saiga .308.
Both guns are pretty similiar. They require at least 3 shots (excluding headsot) to kill. What makes these guns fun is the minimal recoil they have. They also are very good at hip firing. It gives me the option to run and gun and still take out snipers sitting at a distance.
I’ve also grown fond of the MPX for the Cop Engineer. It’s a hard hitting SMG.
Started using the Socom this morning. I like it a lot. MPX also another great gun. I haven’t tried the .308 yet.
I will have to try that. Every game there are snipers camping on the roofs. At least with these you can take them out.
I like the battlerifles. i tried using the PTR-91 and couldnt stand it. I love the Semi Auto DMRs but in this game i couldnt stand them. too much recoil, not enough damage. most frustrating guns to me.
I use the Battlerifles with 3.5x scopes instead in Single Fire. I’ve taken out plenty of snipers and i can switch to auto for CQC.
maybe ill try them again in the future.
I saw a lot of PTR-91s last night. Died to them a lot as well. Haven’t tried those. The Socom16 and the Saiga .308 don’t seem to have a lot of recoil. I can spam fire them and hit my target at any range really.
That’s what’s cool in BF games. So many guns to choose from and so many ways to play.
i also unlocked the “Bald Eagle” thats a fun gun…
I suck as it is but good lord that first gun with the Operator is brutal.
The ros933? That’s wanna the easiest guns in the game. Wait till you use a battle rifle in full auto
